Mount Argapura (often spelled Mount Argopuro) is a complex volcano located in East Java, Indonesia. Mount Argapura has an altitude of 3,088 meters. Mount Argapura is a former volcano which is no longer active.

This mountain is located in the Yang Mountains Wildlife Reserve area, so this complex is often called Yang-Argapura. The Yang-Argapura Complex is a giant volcanic complex that dominates the landscape between Mount Raung and Mount Lemongan in East Java, Indonesia. In this complex there are strands of valleys as deep as 1,000 m. Climbing Mount Argapura is indeed a challenge in itself, because even though it only has an altitude of around 3,088 meters above sea level, the climbing route is quite long. No wonder it is called the longest climbing track on the island of Java, which is around 63 km.

Mount Argapura is the highest peak of the Iyang Mountains and is in a position between Mount Semeru and Mount Raung. There are several peaks owned by this mountain. The famous peak is called Rengganis / Welirang Peak (topografichen Dienst 1928). While the highest peak is at a distance of ± 200 m to the south of the Rengganis peak. This highest peak is named Argopuro and is marked by a height monument (triangulation).

Mount Argopuro has Dipterocarp Hill forest, Upper Dipterocarp forest, Montane forest, and Ericaceous forest or mountain forest.

This mountain is located in Probolinggo Regency, Lumajang Regency, Jember Regency, Bondowoso Regency, and Situbondo Regency, with the peak of Rengganis in the Jember Regency area. In the Rengganis Peak area, it is said that according to the story of the surrounding community, Dewi Rengganis, the younger sister of Nyi Roro Kidul.
